以我的感觉，什么都不对。1和4 更接近准确说法，即：While listening to music, he is dancing with friends. 或 He is dancing with friends, while listening to music. 我感觉目前分词结构，强调当时的状况，假如主句也是同样的（进行}状况，在表示对比或两个动作同时进行的平行关系时，习惯上用while结构。假如你把主句改为过去时，就能了。如：Listening to music, he danced with friends. 目前分词表示结果时可以如此用，如：It has been raining hard for three hours, causing a river to overflow. 以上只是个人依据对语言的直觉做出的判断，未必对。
